Working with us

How a jeweller starts sourcing from Royal Ceylon

No cart and no public price list: the trade buys on requirement and relationship, and so do we.

  1. Send your requirementStone, size, colour, format, quantity and the date you need it. One short message is enough.
  2. Receive a matched selectionFrom our own stock where we hold it, or found and cut for you where we do not, with photographs, measurements, treatment status, certificates and trade price either way.
  3. See the stonesOn memo or on approval for established houses, at the fairs, or at our office in Colombo. Then we ship, insured and documented.

Where it began

Okkampitiya, and the fields beyond it

The house began in Okkampitiya, in Monaragala District, Uva Province, where our family learned the trade at the pits. We still buy there, and at Ratnapura and Elahera, from miners we know by name. Rough travels from those fields to our lapidary in Colombo, and leaves it cut, graded and documented.
